Amla High Density Planting

What is Amla High Density Planting?

Amla High Density Planting (HDP) is a modern horticultural technique where amla trees are planted at closer spacing to maximize yield per unit area. This method ensures better land utilization, increased productivity, and easy management through canopy regulation and pruning.

Why High Density for Amla?

Traditional planting involves wide spacing and lower plant population per acre. HDP allows for planting more trees per unit area, using dwarf or semi-dwarf varieties, regulated pruning, and efficient nutrient management—resulting in early bearing and higher returns.

Increased Yield

More trees per acre lead to higher fruit production and better profit margins.

Early Fruiting

Trees begin bearing fruit earlier due to intensive care and proper spacing.

Easy Management

Pruning, spraying, and harvesting are more efficient due to manageable canopy size.
